Safe team volunteering days during Covid-19.

Charities need help from small teams of people now more than ever.  Find out how we’ve introduced increased safety measures that will allow companies to still get their staff involved.

At Business Volunteers we are experts at arranging & managing team volunteering days.  We’ve been doing it for many years, helping hundreds of companies to get involved & make a difference locally.

We have an impeccable safety record and have adapted our risk assessments to follow government advice and continue helping charities throughout Covid-19.  As small bubbles of people are allowed to come together safely, we have introduced the following safety guidelines into team volunteering days.

  • We are partnering with charities where we can guarantee projects that offer safe, outdoor, social distancing space.
  • No charity service users will be on the site or in proximity to any volunteer activity.
  • Team sizes will be limited to a maximum of six staff.  This may change as Govt advises.
  • Nobody should take part if they have Covid-19 symptoms or live with someone who’s had any symptoms within the last 14 days.
  • All volunteers will be issued with government recommended FFP3 safety masks, disposable gloves & hand sterilising gel.  Hand washing facilities will always be available.
  • All tools & equipment provided by ourselves or the charity will have been cleaned & sterilised before & after use.
  • Lunch & refreshments will be individually wrapped & delivered to the charity location

Team volunteering is an opportunity to bring colleagues together safely who perhaps are working from home or furloughed.  You’ll make a difference in a day and find out about how a local charity is helping others throughout Covid-19.
